The English Premier League club are on the lookout for a new right-back with Bacary Sagna set to leave with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
Jung's agent, Mino Grillo, is claiming that Arsenal could make a move for the 23 year-old in the Summer who would be ready to make that next step up in European football.
"In England we know Arsenal are very strongly on his trail for the summer. They have had scouts watching him in the Bundesliga. There was interest in the past from Inter, Roma and Milan, but no recent contact", said Mino Grillo.
It would appear as though Arsenal have no immediate rivals to race in order to sign the player who has been touted as the heir to Bayern right-back Phillip Lahm in the Senior national side.
Jung has made 37 appearances in all competitions this season for the middle tabled side with one goal and 10 assists provided throughout the campaign.
