Barcelona Consider Move for Arsenal Midfielder Ozil

Barcelona are now free to sign players during the upcoming window and they could be poised to make a move for Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil who has had a disappointing spell so far at the Emirates.

The Spnaish giants recently had their suspension from buying players in the next two transfer windows lifted until the appeal process has been completed.

This means that the Catalans will be able to buy players and they are seriously pondering a move for former Real Madrid and Werder Bremen star Mesut Ozil.

Ozil was Arsenal's big 50 million euro purchase and although he made a promising start, the second half of the season has not been great, both for Ozil and the Gunners.

Barcelona are willing to put 30 million euros on the table to take Ozil off the London side's hands but that would be nowhere near enough to consider even if Ozil was looking to leave.

The Germany international has made 23 appearances this season for the 4th placed side with the addition of 4 goals and 9 assists to his name.
