Everton & Inter on the Trail of Granit Xhaka

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka could possibly part ways with the German club in the summer after two seasons with the Swiss international looking to leave.

The 21 year-old has been an integral part of the starting line-up for most of the season but now in the past 5 matches, Xhaka has either been on the bench for the duration of the 90 minutes or come on as a late substitute.

It seems that he may have fallen out of favour with the side who are vying for that all important fourth spot on the table because he thinks it's time to move on.

Xhaka is believed to be wanting a new challenge and that could well be in either the Premier League or Serie A with both Inter Milan and Everton both interested.

With a contract running until 2017 with the Bundesliga club, it is likely that Monchengladbach will want somewhere in the region or 9-12 million euros as they want to make a profit on the 8.5 million euros which they bought him for in 2012
