David Moyes Leaves Manchester United

After much anticipation, Manchester United has announced that David Moyes is leaving the club which means that he has not made it though one season at the Red Devils.



The club released a statement on their official website very recently: "Manchester United has announced that David Moyes has left the club."

"The club would also like to place on record its thanks for all the hard work, honesty and integrity he bought to the role."

The former Everton manager was appointed as the successor for Sir Alex Ferguson who retired after much success with the prestigious side.

But after the loss to Everton at the weekend, it seems that it was the final straw in a season which the club finds itself languishing in 7th place with hopes of European football next season now gone.

It remains to be seen who will takeover for the rest of the season and beyond but there's increasing speculation that Ryan Giggs could perform the temporary role.

While for the permanent job, Louis Van Gaal, the current manager of the Dutch national team is the favourite to take over for next season onward providing their next manager makes it past the next season.
