AC Milan currently have the loan of the former Lille player and at the end of the season they could pay Valencia around £5.8m pounds to make it a permanent deal.
But it seems as low as that price is, Milan are actually looking to get a discount for the defender due to some tough financial times at the club and Valencia do not appreciate this at all. They feel they can receive much more from other clubs who are interested in the 26 time French international.
Manchester United are ready to pounce on the 28 year-old and are prepared to offer between £10 and 12m to get their man as he would replace Vidic who has signed for Inter next season.
