Barcelona Targeting Roberto Firmino and Marcos Rojo

New FC Barcelona coachLuis Enrique is believed to be following Hoffenheim attacking midfielder Roberto Firmino and also Sporting central defender Marcos Rojo according to Mundodeportivo.

After being named the successor to Gerardo Martino, Luis Enrique has been linked with the signatures of Roberto Firmino who has been in sensational form for the free scoring Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.

The 22 year-old who is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also play on both wings was prolific with 16 goals and 12 assists in the League which was good enough for 4th best in the league.

The former Tombense player has also been linked with a host of teams including Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea but if the Catalans were able to bring the Brazilian in, it would probably spell the end for Alexis Sanchez who has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Juventus.

The other name which the Spanish source has linked with Barcelona is Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo who would be brought in to strengthen a weak point in the side.

Rojo scored 4 goals from 24 appearances in the Portuguese Liga and despite being only 24, he has made a total of 20 appearances for Argentina at senior level.
