Bayer Leverkusen Close Deal for Josip Drmic

It appears that Arsenal are about to miss out on Nurnberg striker Josip Drmic with the player seemingly making the move to Bayer Leverkusen in the summer on a four-year deal.

The Swiss international has had a spectacular season with his club Nurnberg who at best can make a playoff in order to stay in the Bundesliga with immediate safety now out of reach.

And with 16 goals and 3 assists in 32 appearances, Drmic has become hot property around Europe with the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle, Monchengladbach and Dortmund all vying for the 21 year-old's signature.

But it seems that Bayer Leverkusen has all but won the race with sportbild reporting that the case has already been completed.

The 5 time international looks set to join for a fee around the 6 million euro mark on a four year deal.
