The squad of 30 was trimmed down to 23 today and there was not many surprises with Fernando Llorente, Alberto Moreno, Ander Itturaspe, Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas, Dani Carvajal all being dropped with Thiago from Bayern Munich already ruled out with injury.
Chelsea forward Torres has been named despite bad club form while Atletico quartet Diego Costa, Juanfran, David Villa and Koke both made the squad.
