The 28 year-old Swedish international scored the winning goal for the Black Cats at the weekend against Manchester United that has basically secured their survival.
Now it seems despite Sunderland looking like remaining in the EPL, Larsson could move to fellow rivals Stoke City having already agreed to a deal to join the club according to the Daily Mirror.
Larsson also has had interest from Turkey with the likes of Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Bursapor all wanting 58 time international.
The predominantly right sided midfielder has made 29 appearances in the Premier League this season with appearances in the FA Cup, Capital One Cup and World Cup Qualifiers being made as well.
