The attacking minded player has been a revelation for the side who were promoted to the La Liga at the end of last season, helping them to 14th position on the table, although relegation has not been avoided as of yet.
Carles Gil's form hasn't gone unnoticed either with EPL side Everton showing very concrete interest in the youngster and also prompting them to even make an offer.
But Valencia have rejected Everton's first offer for the 21 year-old as they have a view to placing Gil into their first team set-up upon his return from Elche at the end of the season.
It is likely however that Everton boss Roberto Martinez may try again for Gil but for now it seems that a move from Valencia is the most unlikely of events for now during this transfer window which is to open in July.
