Roma Make Offer for Dynamo Kyiv Star Yarmolenko

Italian Serie A runner's up Roma have made a bid to sign Ukrainian international and Dynamo Kyiv winger Andriy Yarmolenko who has managed to score at least 11 goals and contribute 6 assists in each of his last four seasons.

The 24 year-old has been a major target for many top European sides but Roma are looking to move with a 15 million euro bid made for the player according to GianlucaDiMarzio.

The Italian side want to make use of the current political situation in the country and could also move for the likes of Younes Belhanda, Jeremain Lens and Douglas Costa to help reinforce their attacking stocks in preparation for a return to the Champions League.

The 15 million euro bid plus bonuses is expected to be turned down by the Capital club with a bid needing to be around the 25 million euro mark instead to prize away their star player but a deal for Yarmolenko.

But although they are a fair way off the mark, he could still end up being cheaper than a move for Hellas Verona starlet Juan Iturbe who could cost around 30 million euros and is closer to a move to either AC Milan and Juventus at the moment.

But this initial bid has basically paved the way for negotiations to begin and this is seen as the first steps towards acquiring an extremely talented right sided winger.
