The 22 year-old scored a hat-trick at the World Cup against Honduras, showcasing off his potential to the world and it seems as though the Liverpool target has caught the eye of Roma because they are very serious about signing the player.
It is believed that they plan to reach an agreement with the player through some intermediaries and his agent who also happens to be his brother as well while they also negotiate a price tag for the former FC Basel man.
Bayern Munich have supposedly got a 20 million euro price tag on Shaqiri which would be in fact a cheaper alternative to the likes of Douglas Costa, Andriy Yarmolenko and also Juan Iturbe who are fellow targets of Roma and whose clubs are wanting 25 million euros or more for their respective players.
Bayern Munich is also interested in signing Roma defender Mehdi Benatia and the use of Shaqiri in a player exchange plus cash could also be spoken about in negotiations with the Moroccan seemingly on the verge of an exit at the Italian side.
Shaqiri would also be a very versatile player for the club if he was to join with the 37 time internationally capped player being able to play on both sides of the wing as well as behind the striker in the central attacking midfield role.
