The Columbian international will join the Signal Iduna Park outfit on July 1 with a four year contract waiting for him upon his arrival.
He will most likely command a transfer fee of around 10-12 million euros but for now the exact details of the transfer have been left in secrecy.
Ramos will help to fill the void left by Robert Lewandowski who departs for Bayern Munich on a free transfer.
